[edit] Purpose

Genesis answers important questions like:

  1. Where did we come from? (God created us)
  2. What are we here for?
  3. What happens after we die?

In the first eleven chapters of Genesis, the Bible presents the creation and the nature of God's relationship with us. The remaining chapters God reveals his character and attributes to us, and the purpose for us being here.

[edit] Summary

In the first two chapters, God tells us how he created the universe in six days.
